Jungheung Group is continuously expanding on-site safety and health inspections with direct participation from its CEOs to strengthen its safety and health management system. The effort is seen as a demonstration of company-wide commitment toward prioritizing safety and quality management with the goal of achieving "zero serious accidents."
According to Jungheung Group on Sunday, Jungheung Togeon CEO Kim Hae-geun visited the Jeonju Eco City Block 17 project site on May 18, and Jungheung Construction CEO Lee Kyung-ho visited the Seonwol Hi-Park land development project site on May 26, where both conducted intensive inspections of safety management conditions.
The inspections were joined by heads of key departments including the technology division, safety division and future strategy team, along with the CEOs, to comprehensively review the operational status of the safety and health management system.
In particular, the executives closely examined the operation of the safety and health management system, compliance with safety protocols and improvements to working conditions. Immediate corrective measures were ordered for areas requiring improvement, ensuring the inspections produced tangible results.
Following the inspections, the executives held meetings with on-site employees to hear their concerns and engaged in question-and-answer sessions to foster communication. Management offered practical advice based on field experience and emphasized organic cooperation and communication within the organization.
"The best results will come when all employees work with a shared commitment that safety and quality are fundamental," Jungheung Togeon CEO Kim Hae-geun said. "We will become an advanced construction company that prevents serious accidents before they occur."
