The Ulsan Metropolitan City Waterworks Headquarters will offer discounts on water bills to customers who sign up for electronic billing and automatic payment starting in May.
Customers who switch from traditional paper bills to electronic notifications via KakaoTalk alerts or email will receive a monthly discount of 200 won.
Those who sign up for both electronic billing and automatic payment at the same time will receive an additional one-time discount of 5,000 won.
The discount is conditional on opting out of paper bill delivery.
The benefits will take effect starting with bills due in May.
Existing electronic billing and automatic payment users will also receive the same benefits without a separate application.
Applications can be made through the Waterworks Headquarters website or by calling or visiting local branch offices.
