A reporter at KBS, South Korea's public broadcaster, caused a drunk driving accident during work hours.
According to reporting by the Seoul Economic Daily, on June 3, KBS reporter identified only as "A" drove under the influence of alcohol in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and crashed into several parked vehicles. No injuries were reported.
Police who arrived at the scene confirmed that the reporter had been drinking. Authorities plan to summon the reporter for questioning in the near future to determine the exact circumstances of the accident before formally filing charges.
KBS placed the reporter on a standby suspension on the day of the accident.
