Guri, Gyeonggi Province, announced Wednesday that it is holding a spring flower-themed short-form video contest titled "This Spring, Blooming in Guri" through April 30 to commemorate the first Jangja Lake Cherry Blossom Masil Festival.
The contest is open to anyone with an interest in Guri. Participants should produce a vertical video of 60 seconds or less capturing the charm of spring flowers in Guri. Applicants submit an entry form online and send the video file separately via email.
Winners will be selected through evaluation by internal and external experts. Judges will assess entries based on thematic relevance, completeness and creativity. A total of 3 million won in prizes and the Guri Mayor's Award will be given to eight winners or teams, including 1 million won for the grand prize, 500,000 won for the top excellence award and 200,000 won for the excellence award. Winning entries will be posted on Guri City's social media channels and website for use as regional promotional content.
