The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced on the 5th that it has established its 2026 integrity policy blueprint under the theme "Integrity Built Together, Gyeonggi Future Education Moving Forward," with a focus on implementation that can be felt in the field.
The education office explained that it has developed effective policies centered on tangible integrity that can be experienced by the Gyeonggi education community and external stakeholders.
Based on the three core principles of Gyeonggi education—"autonomy, balance, and future"—the office has established three strategic initiatives to spread a participatory integrity culture.
Specifically, the office plans to comprehensively pursue 20 tasks based on: strengthening a virtuous cycle integrity system grounded in "integrity leadership"; reinforcing field-centered preemptive corruption control and prevention measures; and promoting integrity for all, starting from the field.
Additionally, the office aims to strengthen these efforts through initiatives such as launching an integrity blog and operating a working-level task force for integrity improvement.
An official from the education office stated, "We plan to redouble our efforts to nurture future talents with integrity by establishing an educational foundation where students can naturally acquire integrity and ethical awareness through early integrity education in classrooms for future generations."
