Green Umbrella, a child welfare organization, has received the highest rating for the 10th consecutive year in a domestic public interest corporation evaluation conducted by Korea Guide Star, earning recognition for its transparency and accountability.
The organization announced Wednesday that it has maintained the top rating since 2016, receiving the maximum score of three stars in transparency, accountability, and financial efficiency for ten consecutive years.
Korea Guide Star, a private evaluation agency for public interest corporations, conducts annual assessments based on National Tax Service disclosures. The evaluation covers information disclosure levels for donors, organizational operating regulations, transparency in personnel expenses, cost efficiency, and fundraising efficiency.
"We will continue our efforts alongside children so that more people can trust and participate in our journey of supporting children and creating social impact," said Hwang Young-ki, chairman of Green Umbrella.
