GlobalTopNet, an AI server and data center specialist incubated at Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center, is accelerating its push into the AI data center market after securing a major public contract, winning a government R&D project, and attracting strategic investment from a listed company.
According to Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center on the 4th, GlobalTopNet recently signed a computer server supply contract worth approximately 10.7 billion won ($7.6 million) with the Public Procurement Service. The deal covers 410 server units aimed at building high-efficiency, high-density server infrastructure. The company plans to use this as a springboard to expand high-performance AI server supply to the public sector.
The company is also advancing its technology capabilities. GlobalTopNet was selected for a government R&D project on data center efficiency under the Ministry of Science and ICT. The company is developing server technology using new cooling and fire suppression materials optimized for next-generation AI computing environments. The key focus is maximizing energy efficiency while ensuring safety through an eco-friendly cooling and fire suppression system based on fluorinated ketone.
Recently, the company attracted strategic investment from Kosdaq-listed Atome. The two companies plan to jointly build a next-generation high-efficiency AI server platform by combining Atome's high-efficiency power conversion and power module technology with GlobalTopNet's AI server and data center integration technology. Both firms will pursue joint sales targeting Public Procurement Service projects and the edge data center market to expand competitiveness in public and private AI infrastructure markets.
GlobalTopNet is a technology-based company that has supplied servers to major institutions including the National Security Research Institute and Korea Aerospace Research Institute. With this strategic investment and government project selection, the company aims to solidify its position as an AI data center specialist.
GlobalTopNet was selected for Busan's representative tech startup program "Bright Club" in 2023 and is cited as an outstanding example of an incubated company that has grown through Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center's phased programs, including MUST IR support in 2025.
"With the public sector reference, government project selection, and strategic investment from a listed company, we have established both our technology and business foundation," said Lee Hyun-ho, CEO of GlobalTopNet. "We will lead the market in high-efficiency servers for AI data centers with proven results and technical capabilities."
