The Seoul Foundation of Women & Family announced on March 3 that it will hold the "2026 3.8 International Women's Day Commemorative Event" to mark International Women's Day on March 8.
The event aims to expand public-private partnership achievements based on a network of 36 cooperative institutions established through the 2025 "Smart Woman Project."
Notably, the inaugural "Seoul Women's Award" ceremony will be held to officially recognize women's social contributions and leadership.
Awards will be presented in five categories: Women's Leadership, Future Innovation, Solidarity Partnership, Smart Woman, and Media Selection.
The event begins at 4 p.m. on March 8 with a "Networking Lounge," followed by an opening performance, vision declaration performance, awards ceremony, performances, and a talk show. Details are available on the Seoul Foundation of Women & Family website.
