Incheon Metropolitan City will launch its "2026 Vivid City Administration Field Tour" program starting January 3.
The "Vivid City Administration Treasure Island Field Tour-Yeonpyeong Island" course, which operated as a pilot program last year, will transition to regular year-round service. In partnership with the "Incheon i-Sea Pass," Incheon residents can experience the frontline security site near the Northern Limit Line (NLL) in the West Sea as a day trip for just 1,500 won. Previously, visitors were required to stay overnight to complete the Yeonpyeong Peace and Security Training Center program, but the education can now be completed in a single day.
The tour follows a route that includes the Security Education Center, Peace Park, Croaker History Museum, the preserved memorial marker of Sergeant Seo Jeong-woo, Peace Observatory, and Artillery Battery 7. Each session accommodates 15 to 20 participants and includes professional tour supporters and security briefings from the Yeonpyeong military unit.
This year's program adds new tour destinations including the Yeongjong History Museum and specialized nighttime courses. A total of 12 recommended courses have been developed based on 50 tour sites across five regional zones.
Anyone aged 10 or older (fourth grade and above) may participate. Applications can be submitted through the Incheon Metropolitan City website starting 90 days before the desired date.
