Ulsan Metropolitan City will provide up to 100,000 won ($70) annually to unemployed youth aged 19 to 39 for professional certification exam fees.
Eligible applicants must be unemployed residents of Ulsan born between 1986 and 2007. The program covers approximately 900 types of examinations, including language proficiency tests, Korean History Proficiency Test, national technical and professional certifications, and state-certified private qualification exams.
Applicants can receive reimbursement for exam fees incurred between December last year and November this year, with no limit on the number of exams within the annual cap.
Applications open March 3 through the Ulsan Youth Policy Platform. Applicants must submit proof of unemployment and exam fee receipts. Payments will be disbursed within the 15th of the following month after district review.
