Guri City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 2nd that it is accepting applications for its small and medium-sized enterprise worker dormitory rental subsidy program until the 10th.
The program provides business owners who lease employee housing with subsidies covering up to 80% of monthly rent from March to June, capped at 300,000 won per month. Businesses that have contracted employee housing under the company's name are eligible to apply.
Each company can receive subsidies for up to two employees, with permanent workers enrolled in employment insurance qualifying for the program. When applying for two employees, one may be a foreign worker.
Both the workplace and dormitory must be located in Guri City in principle. However, dormitories in other regions are exceptionally permitted if they are within 10 kilometers of the workplace.
Applications can be submitted in person at the Industry Support Team, Industry Support Division, on the first floor of Guri City Hall annex until the 10th. Selection results will be notified individually.
