Eighteen lottery players will each receive 1.74 billion won ($1.2 million) after matching all six winning numbers in South Korea's 1213th Lotto draw, the Korea Lottery Commission announced Saturday.
The winning numbers were 5, 11, 25, 27, 36, and 38, with 2 as the bonus number.
The 110 second-prize winners, who matched five numbers plus the bonus, will each collect 47.45 million won. Third-prize winners numbered 3,724, each receiving 1.4 million won for matching five numbers.
Fourth-prize winners totaled 180,063, each earning the fixed prize of 50,000 won for four matching numbers. Fifth-prize winners reached 2,958,422, each receiving 5,000 won for three matches.
Of the 18 jackpot-winning tickets, 15 were auto-selected and three were manually chosen.
Auto-selected winners purchased tickets at locations including Mideum Lottery Shop in Seodaemun-gu, Yeji Haengbok in Yangcheon-gu, and World 24-Hour in Eunpyeong-gu in Seoul, as well as outlets in Busan, Daegu, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province. One winning ticket was sold through the online lottery sales website.
Manual selections came from Dabok Lottery in Jincheon-gun, North Chungcheong Province; Donnamu Lottery in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province; and Byeolbyeol Mart in Seongju-gun, North Gyeongsang Province.
Winners have one year from the payment start date to claim their prizes.
