The Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority (BJFEZ) is launching a "Visiting Tenant Company Communication Team" to directly hear on-site grievances from tenant companies and improve factors hindering business activities. The initiative aims to actively reflect field-level voices in administration and strengthen follow-up management of requests to provide customized support for tenant companies and improve the business environment.
A BJFEZ official explained, "From March 3 to April 17, we plan to conduct field-centered communication activities targeting a total of 100 companies, including tenant companies with 70 or fewer employees and foreign-invested enterprises in the Busan Science General Industrial Complex."
The communication team will be operated jointly by relevant departments and will directly visit companies to hear grievances regarding management, regulations, and overall on-site operations. Received requests will be organized by type, discussed with relevant departments and related agencies, and managed to lead to system improvements and policy changes.
This year, the authority plans to strengthen partnerships with specialized support organizations including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups Business Support Group, Pusan National University and Changwon National University RISE Project Teams, Busan One-Stop Business Support Center, Changwon Business Support Group, and Changwon Meister Center. Through these partnerships, customized consulting will be provided in areas such as management, labor affairs, technology transfer, and on-site technical advisory services. The authority plans to address practical difficulties through on-site consulting based on company needs and expert matching.
Additionally, the team will provide guidance on major corporate support initiatives including ESG management adoption, response to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, and interpretation applications for preventing industrial accidents involving foreign workers, aiming to increase policy awareness among businesses.
BJFEZ Administrator Park Sung-ho stated, "The Visiting Tenant Company Communication Team is a field-centered communication system that directly visits company sites to identify grievances and connect them to policy and system improvements. We will continuously reflect on-site opinions so that tenant companies can maintain stable business activities."
