Yoo Deuk-won, Administrative Vice Mayor of Daejeon, visited three social welfare facilities on January 9 ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, delivering care packages and extending holiday greetings to residents and staff.
The visits included Lucy Mother and Child Center, a welfare facility for single-parent families.
Daejeon Metropolitan City plans to provide care packages to 21,000 households receiving basic livelihood benefits and 310 welfare facilities, ensuring underprivileged neighbors can enjoy a warm holiday season.
