Sungshin Women's University will select a total of 620 students through regular admission for the 2026 academic year. By admission group, 370 students will be admitted in Group A, 208 in Group B, and 42 in Group C.
The College of Creative Convergence will recruit 210 students for its Liberal Arts Major in Group A and 51 students for its Advanced Field Major in Group B. Students in the College of Creative Convergence will explore majors during their first year and select their major based on their aptitude and career path when advancing to the second year. The Liberal Arts Major allows students to choose from all departments except nursing and education, while the Advanced Field Major limits selection to advanced field programs including the Department of Mathematical Statistics and Data Science, Department of Chemistry and Energy Convergence, Department of Bio-Health Convergence, Department of Bio-Pharmaceutical Medical Science, and Department of AI Convergence. Humanities and natural sciences tracks will be recruited in Groups A and B, while arts and physical education tracks will be recruited in Groups A and C.
The general admission track for humanities and natural sciences reflects only the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) scores at 100 percent. The arts and physical education track selects students based on CSAT scores (55-60 percent) and practical exam scores (40-45 percent), depending on the department.
CSAT scores are calculated using percentile rankings, and the weighting of designated CSAT subjects varies by department, requiring applicants to check the admission guidelines.
Humanities and natural sciences departments require all four subject areas (Korean, mathematics, English, and inquiry subjects), while arts and physical education departments allow selection of the top three subject areas. Notably, some natural sciences departments within the regular admission quota grant an additional 10 percent bonus for the highest-scoring science inquiry subject.
Applicants must take all designated CSAT subjects for their department, and those who do not will be disqualified. English section scores are converted to percentile scores based on grade levels, and inquiry section scores reflect the average percentile of two subjects. Second foreign language or Chinese characters cannot substitute for these requirements.
Special admissions outside the regular quota will recruit 68 students through the Rural Student Track, 30 through the Specialized High School Graduate Track, and 15 through the Equal Opportunity II Track. All three categories select students in Groups A and B based solely on CSAT scores. The Working Adult Track for specialized high school graduates (outside quota) will select students through a comprehensive student record evaluation in Group B if there are unfilled positions from the early admission period.
If over-enrollment or unfilled positions occur during early admission, the 2026 regular admission quota may change. Any changes to the admission quota will be announced on the university's admission website on the 28th of this month.
