Dankook University will admit a total of 1,759 students (863 at Jukjeon campus, 896 at Cheonan campus) through its 2026 regular admissions cycle.
The Jukjeon campus will select 794 students through the CSAT-based (general) track (192 in Group A, 253 in Group B, 349 in Group C), and 69 students through the practical skills and performance-based (general) track (29 in Group A, 40 in Group C).
The CSAT-based (general) track and special categories including Educational Opportunity, Rural Students, and Special Education will be selected based on 100% CSAT scores, while the Physical Education department will reflect CSAT (70%) and practical skills (30%).
The practical skills and performance-based (general) track will reflect CSAT and practical skills at varying ratios depending on the department.
CSAT scores will use percentile rankings, with the exploration subject area reflecting the average of two subjects. English grades will be converted using the university's own percentile conversion scores by grade level, and Korean History grades will be added as bonus points to the total score.
For natural science tracks (excluding Architecture), and Physical Education, students selecting Calculus or Geometry for math will receive a 5% bonus on their math percentile score. Those selecting science exploration subjects will receive a 5% bonus on their percentile before calculating the average score.
The Cheonan campus will admit 747 students through the CSAT-based track (general and Regional Medi-Bio Talent) (316 in Group A, 244 in Group B, 187 in Group C). An additional 149 students will be selected through the practical skills and performance-based (general) track (21 in Group A, 35 in Group B, 93 in Group C).
The CSAT-based track, Educational Opportunity, and Rural Students categories will reflect 100% CSAT scores, while the practical skills and performance-based (general) track will reflect CSAT and practical skills at varying ratios by department.
CSAT scores will use percentile rankings, with medical and pharmaceutical tracks using standard scores for Korean and Math (Calculus/Geometry) sections. The exploration area will reflect only the top single subject, but medical and pharmaceutical tracks will use the average percentile of two science exploration subjects.
Natural science tracks (excluding Nursing and Psychology) will receive a 5% percentile bonus for selecting Calculus or Geometry in math, while medical and pharmaceutical tracks will receive a 5% percentile bonus for selecting Science Exploration II subjects.
The newly established Regional Medi-Bio Talent track will admit students to Pre-Medicine in Group C, Pre-Dentistry in Group B, and Pharmacy in Group A. Applicants must be graduates or prospective graduates who completed their entire curriculum at high schools located in South Chungcheong, North Chungcheong, Daejeon, or Sejong, and must have taken this year's CSAT.
Dankook University also operates various scholarship programs. The university announced that 258 first-round successful applicants within the admission quota will receive full tuition coverage for one year through the "Dankook Talent Scholarship" program.
