Korea Railroad Corporation (Korail) and its labor union have returned to the negotiating table.
According to the railway union on the 10th, the union resumed negotiations at 10 p.m. that day at Korail's Seoul headquarters, following the company's request to restart talks.
"We are currently conducting main negotiations, and we plan to announce whether to adjust the strike based on the results," a railway union official said.
The railway union has threatened an indefinite general strike starting at 9 a.m. on the 11th.
