Osstem Implant has awarded scholarships to 167 students from 15 dental colleges and graduate schools of dentistry nationwide.
The company announced Wednesday that it held the "2025 Scholarship Certificate Ceremony" on January 6 at Osstem Implant Twin Tower in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
Approximately 100 of the 167 scholarship recipients attended the ceremony, where deans and professors from each school personally presented the scholarship certificates.
Attendees also toured the "Osstem Implant Product Exhibition Hall," Korea's first permanent exhibition space dedicated to dentistry. Shin Ye-eum, a first-year pre-dental student at Chosun University College of Dentistry, shared her thoughts: "Since entering dental school, there are many occasions to prepare practical materials, and this scholarship will be a great help. I am honored to receive this prestigious scholarship from Osstem Implant, a company I knew even before enrollment, and I will devote myself more to my studies to become a dentist who can care for patients attentively."
Osstem Implant has conducted scholarship programs for many years to support coexistence with the dental community and the development of domestic dentistry. Since launching scholarships for dental college students in 2003, the cumulative number of beneficiaries has exceeded 1,400 over the past 23 years.
Starting in 2022, the company expanded its scholarship program to include students in dental hygiene and dental technology departments at universities nationwide. Currently, scholarships are provided to 85 dental hygiene departments and 21 dental technology departments, with the number of beneficiary students reaching 2,000 in just four years.
