Seoul captures signs of snowfall in advance through 968 closed-circuit (CC) TVs installed on snowfall routes in the Seohae region and spreads snow removal agents in advance before snow falls in Seoul. 5052 personnel and 1145 snow removal equipment will be put in to prepare for snowfall.
As a large amount of first snow has been predicted, the city plans to establish a comprehensive response system for surprise snowfall and use all snow removal equipment for quick initial response to prevent inconvenience to citizens. Earlier, considering the expected snowfall and sub-zero weather, Seoul also completed preliminary maintenance, such as supplementing snow removal equipment and equipment for snow removal vessels provided in alleys and steep slopes.
