The Crickets Group has continued volunteering this winter and has been delivering warmth to the local community for 19 years.
Crickets joined Korea National Safety Corporation in the “19th Warming Up Korea (Warming Up!) Korea) It was announced on the 4th that a “joint volunteer activity” will be held.
The Warm-up Korea Alliance volunteer activity, which has continued for 19 years since 2007, is a lifestyle-related social contribution program where employees of Kiturami Group and Korea Gas Safety Corporation directly participate to help underprivileged people in the local community overcome the winter. Until now, we have carried out various activities that are of practical help for each period, such as sharing kimjang, sharing briquettes, making and delivering packages of daily necessities, and supporting underprivileged people with quarantine supplies.
This year's volunteer activities will take place in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do under the theme of 'Improving the living environment for low-income families'.
More than 30 employees from Kiturami Group and Korea Gas Safety Corporation are volunteering to improve the living environment for 5 generations, including low-income families and the elderly in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
Volunteers sort and organize various household items loaded in the home and dispose of old or unused items. After replacing old wall coverings and sheets, the entire house is neatly renovated through general cleaning of the living room, master bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom.
At the same time, we support necessary items such as cricket carbon mats, bedding, furniture, and home appliances so that beneficiary families can spend a warmer winter in a more comfortable environment, and we also deploy boiler AS experts and gas safety personnel to carry out safety inspection services.
On the 16th, Kiturami Group and Korea Gas Safety Corporation will dispatch about 20 coalition volunteers to vulnerable families in Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, to carry out activities to improve the living environment.
A volunteer official from the Kiturami Group and Korea Gas Safety Corporation Alliance said, “We have been working hard for the past 19 years to help neighbors in need of a helping hand endure the winter cold wave and continue to live a more stable life,” and “We will continue to continue various joint volunteer activities to spread the value of sharing to the local community and fulfill the social responsibilities of companies and construction companies.”
