LG Uplus (032640) announced on the 30th that it is entering the teacher administration management market by launching 'U+ Superschool' to support digital transformation in public education through artificial intelligence (AI).
U+ SuperSchool is a next-generation school administration management solution equipped with AI agents to innovatively improve teachers' work efficiency. The goal is to streamline repetitive and inefficient administrative tasks with AI technology so that teachers can focus on teaching and student guidance, which is their natural role.
In the field of education, writing a life record book is considered the biggest administrative burden for teachers. By using U+ Super School, teachers can automatically create a highly reliable customized life record book reflecting academic achievement and activity based on accumulated student data. In addition, students are objectively recorded and fair standards are applied regardless of region or environment.
U+ Superschool has optimized the high school credit system to solve the difficulties of attendance management that may occur due to division, and can process all attendance-related procedures online, such as attendance books, attendance reports, and experiential learning documents. From application to approval, administrative processing has been facilitated through online non-face-to-face payment. As materials previously scattered on paper are automatically accumulated on a single platform, teachers can efficiently manage and analyze student activity history data without worrying about collection or omission.
U+ SuperSchool applied the CSAP IaaS 'medium' grade certification infrastructure, a public cloud security certification system, and 'EXAONE (EXAONE)', the largest language model in Korea developed in-house by LG. The explanation is that it has a level of security that can be used safely by public institutions such as national, local governments, and schools, so teachers can handle various tasks without worrying about students leaking sensitive information.
Jeong Young-hoon, Head of AI Business (Managing Director) of LG Uplus Enterprise, stated, “U+ Super School automatically organizes documents and data to help teachers create a more accurate life record book,” and “We will support the creation of an environment where teachers can focus on student guidance and classes through AI administration support.”
