Prime Minister Han Seong-sook said Wednesday that the Lee Jae-myung government would "turn the unreal into reality," referring to the government's large-scale regional investment initiative known as the "three mega-projects."
Han made the remarks at a Democratic Party workshop held at the Dragon City Hotel in Seoul that day, saying, "The three mega-projects serve as a foundation for South Korea's future growth engine and represent a grand blueprint," adding that "this will be the Lee Jae-myung government that turns the unreal into reality."
"This is a critical juncture to establish a new turning point for balanced national development," Han stressed. "For these tasks to be successfully carried out, it is important above all that the party, government, presidential office, and National Assembly communicate and cooperate closely."
"The most important virtue is speed," Han said. "The government will actively pursue regulatory rationalization. We will carry out our duties responsibly and spare no necessary support."
