
President Lee Jae-myung will host a dinner on July 1 with Han Byung-do, acting leader of the Democratic Party and floor leader, along with the party's floor leadership team.
According to ruling party sources Sunday, Lee will invite Han, deputy floor leader for operations Chun Jun-ho, deputy floor leader for policy Kim Han-kyu, and deputy floor leaders including Ahn Do-gul, Park Kyun-taek, Park Hee-seung, Lee Jeong-heon, and Lim Mi-ae to the dinner on July 1.
The meeting is expected to cover legislative tasks to be handled in the July extraordinary session of the National Assembly, as well as internal party matters.
On the same day, Lee will also invite former President Moon Jae-in to the presidential office for lunch. With internal party conflict intensifying amid the party convention period, the two are expected to exchange views on party unity.
