President Lee Jae-myung and First Lady Kim Hye-kyung visited Songgwangsa Temple in Wanju, North Jeolla Province.
According to the Presidential Office on the 28th, President Lee and the First Lady visited Songgwangsa Temple on the 27th after completing their tour of Jeonbuk National University's Physical AI Demonstration Lab. The presidential couple met with the temple's head monk for tea.
Photos from the visit were uploaded to President Lee's official Instagram account. The images showed the couple having tea with the head monk, taking selfies with visitors, and their shoes left at the entrance. President Lee wrote alongside the photos, "The warm weather made it feel as if spring had arrived," adding, "In the tranquility I hadn't experienced in a long time, I caught my breath and gained strength to move forward again."
