The ASEAN-Korea Centre (Secretary General Kim Jae-shin) announced that it held the 13th ASEAN Connectivity Forum at the Atlas Hall of The Westin Josun Seoul Parnas hotel on Thursday.
The forum, themed "Advancing ASEAN Connectivity: Strategic Action Plans for the Next Decade," was organized to discuss directions for ASEAN-Korea cooperation based on the ASEAN Connectivity Strategic Plan 2026-2035, which was newly adopted in May.
Participants included representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat, research institutions from major dialogue partner countries, international organizations, and Korean experts.
The forum featured in-depth discussions across three sessions: bridging connectivity through strengthening regional connectivity via Indo-Pacific cooperation partnerships; from policy to implementation, building a resilient and people-centered ASEAN through supply chain restructuring and integrated cooperation frameworks; and from digital transformation to sustainability, realizing an innovative and dynamic future through the twin transitions.
