Yet in this age of hyper-personalization, where such fine-grained preferences are honored, what stance are we taking toward the "education" upon which our children's futures depend?
We must reflect on whether, while pursuing such demanding diversity in everyday consumption, we are leaving our children confined within a uniform framework in education—failing to read the rapidly changing currents of the times. Education can no longer be a standardized product. It is time for parents themselves to deliberate on and combine the "toppings of authentic education" that will essentially bring their children's souls and abilities to life.

The most heartbreaking aspect of today's educational landscape is that children's inner lives are crumbling. Because character is first learned through parents, only when parents themselves change first—knowing gratitude and serving with humility—can children grow into beautiful talents.

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, when AI is replacing countless domains, the rich sensibility and creativity unique to humans have become more valuable than ever. Sadly, however, today's children are confined to a uniform educational environment within the digital world and are losing touch with their own emotions. The number of "colorless and odorless" children—unable to write a single line of poetry or a thank-you letter, unable to sing a song properly, unable to confidently express their thoughts—is growing.
A child views the world and forms frameworks of thought to the extent of his or her experience. What one sees and feels in the teenage years therefore determines the child's future. We must awaken their potential by providing diverse opportunities such as singing, dancing, musicals, instrumental performance, writing, debate, and field experiences. We must also raise children who can feel and marvel from the heart at nature's changes—the sprouts of spring, the verdant shade of summer, autumn fields, and winter snowscapes. A child who can be moved by nature gains the powerful capacity to be grateful for small things and to generate happiness on their own.
The 'Topping of a Scientific, Customized Curriculum' That Completes Competence
The topping of competence, placed atop the dough of character and sensibility, must not be neglected either. Rather than being buried in rote memorization for college entrance exams, students must be provided with a scientific curriculum equipped with a 1:1 roadmap that accurately gauges each student's level and a systematic learning management system. Breaking away from cram-style education, projects in which students take the lead and a wide range of experiences serve as excellent toppings that complete a child's abilities in three dimensions.
The 'Topping of a Parent Education System' to Reset Distorted Frameworks of Thought
The destination that completes all educational toppings is, ultimately, "people," and that begins with none other than parents. The saying "the level of a parent's consciousness determines the level of the child's consciousness" is by no means an exaggeration. Only when parents master concrete methods of communication that restore broken relationships with their children, and when parents themselves first demonstrate the joy of learning and transformation in life, do the children's lives revive and the miracle of the family begin. Education is more than the mere transmission of knowledge; it is the sublime work of bringing souls to life. Let us now strip our children of the yoke of uniform education and earnestly combine for them the "finest educational toppings"—character, sensibility, competence, creativity, mentors, and the transformation of parents. When parents and educational institutions unite to prepare these perfect toppings, our children will at last shine as precious talents who illuminate the world.
