

Seegene, a global molecular diagnostics total solution company, is launching the Global Million Clinical Study (GMCS) project, the first of its kind in the diagnostics industry.
According to Seegene on Wednesday, the GMCS project will run from this August across countries worldwide, including Korea. It is a global clinical research project that verifies the clinical utility and medical effectiveness of new testing strategies for each disease, based on the industry's first real-world clinical data on a scale of one million cases.
The project aims to accumulate real-world clinical data together with medical institutions worldwide, verify the clinical value of testing strategies for each disease based on this data, and establish the scientific basis for a Global New Standard. The concept is to create a more comprehensive and accurate diagnostic environment so that anyone, regardless of country or region, can receive the best possible testing currently available.
Seegene has placed its real-time diagnostic data analysis platform "STAgora™" at the center of such data-based research and clinical evidence accumulation. The real-world clinical data accumulated through GMCS will be linked with STAgora to analyze patterns of infectious disease occurrence and test results by country and disease, and will be used as a research foundation for establishing new testing standards for each disease.
For precise clinical design, Seegene's strategy is to objectively compare differences in national testing systems based on each country's testing regulations and clinical guidelines, and to secure the scientific basis for establishing new global standards for each disease based on real-world clinical data.
