"Since I came here to learn about trends in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, I want to listen to the lectures even if there are no seats left."
At "Bitcoin Seoul 2026," held at the FKI Tower in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 4th, visitors interested in the cryptocurrency ecosystem flocked to the venue from early morning. In particular, the Emerald Hall — which featured sessions covering the industry's latest trends such as won-denominated stablecoins and the convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain — ran short of seats, with more than 50 attendees standing to listen to the lectures. While the event's capacity was about 400 people, more than 670 participated, demonstrating the high level of interest in the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Praise for the lectures continued as well. Some speakers stayed for the following session rather than leaving the venue after their presentations ended. A Korea University graduate student who came to the event with six classmates said, "I came after hearing the news that the event was being held at our school," adding, "I was impressed by the lecture given by Vibhav Diwakar, head of the Canton Foundation."
At Bitcoin Seoul 2026, not only industry professionals but also students who will lead the industry's future visited the site, generating excitement even outside the lecture halls. Cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb, Web 3.0 specialized research firm Tiger Research, Babylon, and BNB Chain operated eye-catching booths outside the lecture halls, drawing attendees' attention. At the booths, the companies introduced their differentiated services and ecosystems and also held events giving away popcorn, energy drinks, and more. After enjoying the events, attendees took commemorative photos, adding vitality to the Bitcoin Seoul 2026 site.
