KT has unveiled an AX (AI transformation) strategy optimized for the financial industry, targeting its financial clients.
KT said it invited about 50 IT practitioners from the financial industry to its Gwanghwamun West building in Seoul on Tuesday, where it presented an AX infrastructure strategy and operational innovation directions tailored to the financial environment.
The financial industry is a field where the importance of stable network-based infrastructure and AX strategies for business innovation is growing as digital transformation proceeds rapidly. At the event, KT introduced its "KT 2026 Network Strategy," which reflects global 6G trends and shifts in the technology paradigm, and shared the AX promotion trends and partnership cases of domestic financial firms.
The presentation introduced actual use cases from client companies that have adopted KT's communication services, drawing the interest of attendees. KT also unveiled its main product lineup, including Smart Message RCS, Communiz, and mobile notifications.
KT also presented a DDoS defense strategy centered on "Clean Zone," its flagship security platform. Clean Zone is a cloud-based security solution that blocks malicious traffic during a DDoS attack and delivers only normal traffic to servers, supporting stable operations without service disruption. At the event, actual attack response cases were introduced along with operating methods, monitoring experience, and technical know-how.
In addition, KT proposed an AI infrastructure operation plan to innovate the stability and productivity of AI-based financial services. KT plans to support companies and research institutions in focusing on AI development without the burden of building infrastructure, through a subscription-based model service that integrates AI solutions and GPU infrastructure.
"KT has continuously accumulated technological capabilities and expertise as a strategic partner supporting the digital transformation of financial firms," said Kim Won-tae, head of KT's Public and Financial Business Division. "Going forward, we will expand the market by providing industry-specific AX strategies based on our network competitiveness and stable service quality."
