Amway Korea has launched Nutrilite Magnesium+Relax, a health functional food product, the company said Tuesday.
The product helps relieve tension caused by stress, featuring a triple-design formula with magnesium, theanine, and vitamin B6 as its main ingredients. Each stick contains 315 mg of magnesium, meeting 100% of the recommended daily nutritional value. It also contains 200 mg of L-theanine, a functional ingredient. In human application tests of L-theanine, intake under stress-induced conditions resulted in a smaller increase in heart rate compared to control products. Vitamin B6 is also included.
The product uses premium magnesium ingredients. In particular, it applies patented triple-coating technology, adding magnesium that is protected in the stomach and dissolved in the intestines to enhance bioavailability. It also blends five carefully selected supplementary ingredients chosen by Nutrilite, including chamomile extract powder, saffron stigma extract powder, octacosanol-containing oil, L-leucine, and black elderberry extract powder. The grapefruit-chamomile flavored stick is to be taken one packet per day.
"As stress has recently become a major issue in daily health management, interest in health functional foods for tension relief has continued," an Amway Korea official said. "This new product contains a balanced amount of high-dose magnesium, theanine, and vitamin B6, helping to easily relieve tension caused by stress and manage everyday health."
