Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will visit Naver's second headquarters "1784" during his upcoming trip to Korea next week. With Naver staking its future on strengthening artificial intelligence (AI) competitiveness, the two sides are expected to hold in-depth discussions on expanding global AI cooperation.
According to information technology (IT) industry sources Wednesday, Huang is coordinating detailed plans with Naver to visit the 1784 headquarters in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, during his stay in Korea. The visit is reportedly likely to take place on Nov. 8.
Ahead of the headquarters visit, Huang is also expected to hold a separate meeting on Nov. 5 with Lee Hae-jin, Global Investment Officer (GIO) of Naver. Industry observers expect the meeting to focus on key agenda items including large-scale AI infrastructure development, sovereign AI and physical AI.
Naver's 1784 building, which Huang plans to visit, is the world's first robot-friendly building. It is regarded as a space that consolidates the physical AI technologies Naver has accumulated, including digital twin, autonomous driving and mobile robots. AMD CEO Lisa Su also visited the building during her trip to Korea in March, where she discussed AI infrastructure cooperation with Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon.
