Gabia has been selected as a supplier for the "2026 High-Performance Computing Support Program" organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), the company said Wednesday.
MSIT and NIPA are investing 16.7 billion won in the program to ease the burden on domestic artificial intelligence (AI) companies and institutions in adopting high-performance computing resources. Under the program, NIPA signs agreements with supplier companies and provides high-performance computing servers to selected demand companies free of charge. The program consists of two categories: graphics processing units (GPUs) and neural processing units (NPUs).
Gabia was selected as a supplier in the NPU category. The NPU that Gabia will provide to demand companies is Rebellions' "ATOM Max." The ATOM Max is an accelerator specialized for large-scale AI inference, delivering 128 teraflops (TFLOPS) of computing performance based on FP16.
Small and medium-sized enterprises, venture companies, startups, sole proprietors, and universities, graduate schools, and university hospitals selected as demand companies can use the ATOM Max free of charge from the date of contract signing through December 31 of this year.
