Krafton (259960.KS) is offering Kia (000270.KS) electric vehicle items in its flagship game "PUBG Mobile."
According to the gaming industry on Tuesday, Krafton rolled out content developed in collaboration with Kia within PUBG Mobile through an update the previous day.
Krafton released a "Special Crate" containing vehicle items for the first time since the launch of PUBG Mobile. The Special Crate allows users to draw items using "Chicken Medals," a free in-game currency, and players can obtain a variety of rewards including in-game vehicle skins featuring designs of the Kia EV3, EV4, and PV5. Through the "Kia Collaboration Commemorative Attendance Event," which runs from the previous day through June 4, users can earn up to 55 Chicken Medals by checking in over 10 days.
The "8th Anniversary PUBGM x Kia In-Game Event" will run through the 26th of this month to mark the eighth anniversary of the game's service. All participants will receive a Kia brand-themed profile image and profile border frame. Various prizes, including Kia vehicle subscription benefits, will also be offered.
In addition, Krafton is hosting an offline pop-up event from Wednesday through the 25th at "PUBG Seongsu" and "Kia Unplugged Ground," game-themed cultural complexes located in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. At the venue, visitors can play PUBG Mobile on the Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. In particular, the Galaxy S26 Ultra's "Privacy Display" feature limits the screen's viewing angle to block peripheral viewers, allowing for a more immersive gameplay experience.
