Netmarble is holding a series of events to celebrate the launch of its new title, "Game of Thrones: Kingsroad."
The company said Tuesday that it will run a partnership event with PC cafe platform operator MediaWeb until June 15. Users can play Game of Thrones: Kingsroad through CraftBox at Pika PC cafes or on personal computers and receive event rewards based on their cumulative playtime.
First, an "Attendance Check Play Mission Event" will be held. Players can earn a total of 6,000 Pika Mission Mileage points during the event period, depending on their daily cumulative playtime.
In addition, players who reach five hours of cumulative playtime will receive a variety of in-game item coupons. The coupons include one Trainee's Map, five Advanced-to-Heroic Emblem Boxes (North & Reach), three All-Purpose Mixtures, 15 Living Support Boxes, and 50,000 Coins.
Meanwhile, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is an open-world action RPG set in the world of Season 4 of HBO's Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning series "Game of Thrones." Netmarble developed the game after acquiring an official license from HBO, a unit of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game is characterized by its high-quality recreation of the original's worldview and characters based on thorough research, providing maximized immersion.
