Snowflake, a global artificial intelligence (AI) data cloud company, will participate in AWS Summit Seoul 2026, held for two days from the 20th to 21st at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to introduce its integrated AI strategy and latest technology capabilities.
Snowflake announced on the 19th that Kim Hyun-jung, its senior partner solutions engineer, will participate as a speaker at AWS Summit Seoul. Now in its 12th year, AWS Summit Seoul is Korea's largest AI and cloud conference hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS), sharing the latest technology trends and industry-specific innovation cases centered on generative AI and cloud technologies.
Under the theme "Snowflake+AWS Integrated AI Strategy," Kim will explain how to connect data and intelligence based on Cortex Code. She will examine practical challenges from the integrated perspective of Snowflake and AWS, including inefficiencies, security and compliance issues that arise as enterprise AI pipeline environments grow more complex and cloud tools for machine learning, LLMs and analytics become fragmented.
Cortex Code is an AI coding agent that supports everything from data integration to AI workflow building and operations through natural language-based commands. Kim plans to introduce the case of BMW Group, which adopted Snowflake's AI Data Cloud based on the AWS environment. The company will also operate a live demo at its exhibition booth where visitors can directly experience Cortex Code. Visitors can check in real time the end-to-end AI pipeline building process from data integration to deployment using only natural language commands.
"At AWS Summit Seoul, Korea's largest AI and cloud conference, we will share Snowflake's AI Data Cloud strategy and actual customer innovation cases," said Lim Jin-sik, head of solutions engineering at Snowflake Korea. "We will present specific directions so that AWS customers can move beyond securely integrating and managing data to connecting agentic AI to actual business innovation and decision-making."
