LG Uplus said Thursday it held an experiential event called "Legoland RUN" for long-term customers at Legoland Korea in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
The event, held on the 17th, was a participatory program for more than 4,000 long-term customers who hold LG Uplus membership VIP status or higher and have used the service for at least five years. Participants ran a roughly 5-kilometer course near Legoland alongside Lego characters, and were also given a complimentary Legoland 1Day Pass after the event.
LG Uplus has recently been expanding its membership programs and experiential events for long-term customers, continuously rolling out content that allows customers to participate and engage directly, going beyond simple discounts or point rewards. The company plans to further expand experiential benefits for long-term customers, including a "family water play event" in August in collaboration with Legoland.
"Based on customer value, we are focusing our marketing capabilities on providing differentiated experiences that customers can continuously feel in their daily lives, going beyond simple discounts or one-time benefits for those who have used Uplus," said Jang Jun-young, Executive Vice President and head of LG Uplus's marketing group. "We will strengthen customer value based on differentiated membership experiences to enhance customer satisfaction and trust, and ultimately lead to voluntary recommendations."
