Global travel tech company Yanolja Group has made a donation worth 100 million won ($73,000) to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation to mark Children's Day.
Yanolja and Nol Universe said Sunday they delivered cash donations and goods worth 100 million won to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, including support for pediatric patients' treatment costs, family travel expenses, and performance tickets. The donation was arranged to help ease the financial burden on children with pediatric cancer and their families, who are exhausted from prolonged treatment, and to help them find emotional stability through time spent with their families.
Yanolja Group has continued its support for children with pediatric cancer since 2010, embracing "sustainable sharing" and "social responsibility" as core values. Cumulative donations to date total approximately 1.4 billion won. Beyond treatment cost support, the group has continued wide-ranging assistance aimed at improving the quality of life for young patients and their families, including establishing children's shelters, providing learning opportunities, and supporting family relationship recovery and leisure activities.
This year, the group provided 70 million won for pediatric patients' treatment costs, 30 million won for family travel expenses, and 100 performance tickets, helping families build precious memories together and strengthen their will to recover.
"We have continued our support with the hope that children can spend warm times with their families on Children's Day," said Lee Su-jin, CEO of Yanolja Group. "Going forward, Yanolja Group will not only innovate the travel industry through technology and data but also practice win-win management so that all members of society can enjoy a happy life."
