SOOP (067160.KS) is joining hands with Nexon to build a "participatory ecosystem" based on game content and live streaming.
According to industry sources on the 28th, SOOP and Nexon launched the preseason of their account linkage service, which connects both companies' activity data in real time, and "N-CONNECT," a program for users and streamers, the previous day.
N-CONNECT is a streamer program operated based on content and game activity, designed to structurally connect user participation, streamer activities, and game experiences. The two companies plan to create a connection structure encompassing users, streamers, and games by enabling users and streamers to build more diverse broadcasting experiences centered on Nexon games.
Streamers participating in N-CONNECT will operate as "N-Connectors." They can freely broadcast using Nexon games as material and communicate with users. After joining N-CONNECT, streamers can receive various benefits, including content subsidies, drops, and merchandise, by broadcasting with Nexon games or participating in official programs.
In addition, through a reward structure based on three pillars — activity, growth, and impact — the program has established an environment where streamer activities can continue over the long term.
Any streamer broadcasting on SOOP can join N-CONNECT. Streamers who broadcast for more than 10 hours in the Nexon game category will receive N-CONNECT special merchandise. A promotional support program for the growth of general streamers will also be operated.
An account linkage system for users is also in place. When users link their Nexon game accounts with their SOOP accounts, they can receive benefits such as drops events and Nexon Cash. During the preseason, the two companies plan to sequentially introduce in-game benefits and programs for participating users.
N-CONNECT will operate as a preseason for approximately five months through September, and SOOP and Nexon plan to advance the operational structure based on user and streamer participation, reactions, and feedback.
