NHN Cloud participated in Japan IT Week 2026, Asia's largest information technology exhibition.
The company announced Wednesday that it is showcasing its capabilities as a cloud infrastructure partner for implementing artificial intelligence transformation (AX) in Japan at Japan IT Week, held from January 8 to 10. Japanese industry is currently accelerating AX initiatives to overcome structural challenges of population decline and labor shortages. NHN Cloud has been directly operating its Tokyo region since 2019 in line with this market trend.
At the exhibition, NHN Cloud introduced its experience building a proprietary technology-based "cloud full-stack" that has been validated in Korea's public and financial sectors. The company also presented high-performance GPU-based AI infrastructure services (GPUaaS) proven domestically and industry-specific cloud use cases, demonstrating practical AX implementation possibilities for the Japanese market.
Strategic partner Innogrid also joined the exhibition, introducing enterprise AI infrastructure operation capabilities integrated with NHN Cloud's GPU infrastructure. Innogrid proposed customized optimization solutions for enterprises, including multi- and hybrid-cloud integrated operations, GPU resource orchestration, and AI workload deployment and scaling, based on its AI infrastructure operation platform.
Going forward, NHN Cloud plans to supply AX solutions combining local network and cloud management service capabilities in collaboration with NHN Techorus, its technology subsidiary in Japan. The company also plans to serve as a global bridgehead helping Korean IT companies enter the Japanese market by providing local subsidiary operation know-how and regulatory compliance guidance.
