Woomi Construction is supplying its fourth apartment complex in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province.
Woomi Construction announced on January 8 that it will launch sales of 'Yeosu Soje Joongheung S-Class Woomirin' in the Soje district of Yeosu, in partnership with Joongheung Engineering & Construction.
The complex will be built in the Soho-dong 828 area of Yeosu, South Jeolla Province. The development comprises 21 buildings ranging from five underground floors to 25 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,679 units. Ansim Elementary School is within walking distance, and major facilities including Yeosu City Hall, libraries, and movie theaters are nearby. All units are primarily south-facing, with some offering ocean views. As the first sales project in Soje district, a newly emerging residential area in Yeosu, the complex will be subject to price ceiling regulations, with prices set reasonably compared to surrounding market rates. The model house will be located at 1807-3 Ungcheon-dong, Yeosu, South Jeolla Province.
Yeosu was the first region where Woomi Construction, which originated in Gwangju, expanded beyond the Gwangju metropolitan area. Woomi Construction first entered Yeosu in 2000 with the sales of 'Soho District Woomi Ocean Ville.' The company subsequently supplied 'Woomi Inosville' in 2002 and 'Yeosu Jangseong Woomirin' in 2004.
"When we first entered the market, even large construction companies were entering workout programs due to liquidity problems following the IMF financial crisis," a Woomi Construction official said. "Through thorough market analysis, we were able to successfully complete sales by highlighting locational advantages such as ocean views."
