Roborock, a global smart home brand, is launching a project to improve conditions at child welfare facilities in partnership with Save the Children, the international children's rights NGO.
Roborock said Thursday it will carry out a corporate social responsibility initiative to upgrade aging child welfare facilities so children can live in safe and comfortable environments. The project also includes participatory education programs designed to raise children's awareness of the climate crisis and encourage action.
For the initiative, Roborock plans to provide 30 million won in donations along with its cleaning appliances to Save the Children to improve hygiene conditions at child welfare facilities in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The company will also pursue "green remodeling," including enhanced insulation and improved energy efficiency, to create more sustainable living environments.
Participatory education programs will also be offered to help children understand the severity of the climate crisis and respond proactively. The programs aim to support children in developing sound values around environmental protection and building the capacity to take action.
The collaboration is significant in that it strengthens the partnership Roborock and Save the Children have maintained since 2025. Roborock plans to gradually expand the scope of its support and develop the initiative into the brand's flagship CSR program.
"We hope Roborock's technology and products can make a real difference in the healthy growth of children, who are the future generation," a Roborock official said. "We will continue to provide ongoing support so that children can pursue their dreams in better environments."
