
Korea must pursue core component self-reliance and global artificial intelligence partnerships as key strategies to catch up with the United States and China in the intensifying humanoid robot race, according to a new report. With market dominance expected to be determined by 2030, Korea should leverage its strengths as a manufacturing powerhouse to quickly close the gap, the report said. The humanoid robot industry has entered an accelerated growth phase this year, driven by falling prices and the shift to mass production systems.
