Smilegate's mobile RPG "Epic Seven" is hosting a global online esports league.
Smilegate announced Friday that the "Epic Seven Masters," an online esports league for Epic Seven, completed its group draw and will kick off on April 11. Epic Seven Masters is a newly launched online esports league this year with a total prize pool of $34,000. Seeds for the "Epic Seven World Championship (E7WC)" will also be awarded as additional prizes.
Smilegate held the group draw ceremony for Epic Seven Masters on April 4. Players who wish to participate from the top 100 of the World Arena 2026 Spring Season will compete in the league. The final champion will be determined through a double-elimination group stage, followed by a knockout stage where the top two from each group advance to the upper rounds, culminating in the finals.
The group stage is divided into a Global Group consisting of Global and Europe servers, and an Asia Group consisting of Korea, Asia, and Japan servers. The group stage will be held every Saturday at noon for four weeks from April 11 to May 2. The knockout stage will take place on May 16, 17, and 23, with the finals on May 30. All matches will be livestreamed on the official Epic Seven YouTube channel.
The champion and runner-up will receive prize money of $15,000 and $10,000 respectively, along with seeds to advance directly to the round of 16 at E7WC 2026. Prize money will also be awarded to the top eight players based on their final standings.
Through this new league, Smilegate plans to expand esports participation opportunities for users and strengthen the foundation of Epic Seven esports alongside E7WC, which will be held in the fourth quarter of this year.
