Six out of 10 corporate human resources managers are considering adopting artificial intelligence (AI) recruiting agents, a new survey shows.
According to the results of a survey on "AI Recruiting Agent Adoption and Utilization Awareness" released Wednesday by Jobkorea, a Korean recruiting platform, more than 65% of domestic companies have already applied AI agents to their hiring operations or are reviewing adoption. The survey was conducted from February 26 to March 20, targeting 1,286 corporate recruiting managers.
In a detailed breakdown, 3.1% of respondents said they had "already adopted or plan to adopt" AI agents, 13.6% said they were "actively reviewing" adoption, and 48.8% said they were "considering adoption." Analysts interpret the findings as indicating that the hiring market has moved past the early stage of AI adoption and is entering a phase of full-scale expansion.
When asked which tasks they wanted AI recruiting agents to assist with or perform on their behalf, "recommending talent suitable for the position" topped the list at 39.7%. This was followed by "automatic job posting creation and optimization" at 30.6%, "candidate matching and recommendation" at 27.5%, and "assistant-type overall recruitment support" at 27.0%. The results confirm demand beyond simple repetitive task automation, pointing to strong interest in "recommendation-based AI" that quickly identifies and suggests suitable candidates.
For expected benefits of adopting AI agents, "reducing time spent on hiring tasks" was cited by 64.9% of respondents, accounting for more than half. "Automating repetitive tasks" followed at 44.8%, while "recommending more suitable talent" also drew a significant response rate of 33.6%. The findings suggest companies expect AI adoption to deliver both operational efficiency and improved hiring quality simultaneously.
Jobkorea has been introducing AI recruiting agent solutions to the market. The company recently launched "Hiring Center," an integrated recruiting solution that handles the entire process — from job posting registration to applicant management, communication, and operational management — in a single workspace.
"The hiring market appears to be entering a stage of transition from simple automation to an AI agent-centered structure," a Jobkorea official said. "In particular, we confirmed that companies expect to save time and energy that can be devoted to important decision-making."
