Park Yun-young, the newly appointed CEO of KT (030200.KS), South Korea's leading telecommunications carrier, officially took office on March 31 and declared his ambition to "transform KT into an AI transformation (AX) platform company that leads in artificial intelligence."
Park began his first day without attending a shareholders' meeting, inauguration ceremony, or other formal events. Instead, he visited information security and network operation sites. He conveyed his initial vision through a letter sent to employees. He also immediately carried out an organizational restructuring, signaling a management style focused on the field and speed from day one.
