KT Cloud has named Kim Bong-gyun, 54, a KT (030200.KS) vice president, as its new chief executive.
KT CEO Park Yun-young announced executive personnel changes on Saturday, appointing Kim as CEO of KT Cloud and head of KT's Enterprise Division, according to industry sources. Kim will hold both positions concurrently.
Born in 1972, Kim began as head of the Enterprise Strategy Unit within KT's Enterprise Division in 2021, then served as head of KT's Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters in 2022 and as CEO of KT Engineering in 2025. He is regarded as an executive with broad experience across B2B operations, including sales, strategy and engineering.
KT Cloud plans to hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to approve Kim's appointment as CEO. Once the resolution is passed, Kim will formally begin his leadership of KT Cloud.
