
Netmarble (251270.KS) announced on the 24th the grand launch of its multi-player open-world action role-playing game (RPG) "The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin," officially releasing the title on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin had received positive responses from global users since its early release on PlayStation 5 and Steam on the 17th of this month. With the mobile launch, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has fully activated cross-platform service spanning console, PC and mobile. The video features a blend of live-action and 3D modeling, set against the backdrops of major cities in Korea, Japan and the United States. Key characters from "The Seven Deadly Sins" appear to invite users into the world of Britannia.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is a multi-player open-world action RPG based on the intellectual property (IP) of the popular manga "The Seven Deadly Sins," which has recorded cumulative sales of 55 million copies worldwide. The game adds a multiverse setting to the original worldview, offering an original story that anyone can enjoy with ease and immersion.
The launch version features a total of 18 heroes, including popular original characters such as Meliodas, Tristan, Diane and King, along with original characters created for this title. Users can freely explore key locations from the source material, including Liones Castle, the Fairy King's Forest and Baste Prison, experiencing the anime world firsthand.
Combat emphasizes strategy through a system where players form teams of four heroes and switch characters depending on the situation.
