Netmarble (251270.KQ), a major South Korean mobile game publisher, has launched mobile pre-downloads for its multi-player open-world role-playing game (RPG) *The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin* ahead of the game's mobile release.
Netmarble said the mobile version is available for pre-download on Google Play and the Apple App Store starting 12:30 p.m. on the 23rd. Gameplay will be accessible from midnight on the 24th. The mobile version supports cross-platform account linking with PlayStation 5 and Steam, allowing users to seamlessly play across console, PC and mobile with a single account.
To celebrate the official launch, Netmarble is offering in-game rewards including approximately 59,000 "Star Fragments" — used for hero draws — and 90 standard hero draw tickets. A separate launch event will provide additional rewards including SSR-grade hero "Gila," SSR "Black Flame Wing Lance," an SSR crafted weapon selection box, 60 standard hero draw tickets, 10 pick-up hero draw tickets and 4,300 Star Fragments. A pick-up event for the original series protagonist "Meliodas" is also underway, along with an event running until April 8 to obtain the exclusive costume "Divine Treasure: Demon Sword Lostvayne."
Netmarble previously released *The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin* on PlayStation 5 and Steam on the 17th, drawing positive responses from global users and maintaining stable service. The game reached as high as sixth on Steam's global revenue rankings and charted in the top tiers across major markets — first in France, second in Belgium, Italy, Spain and Thailand, third in Japan, fourth in South Korea, and sixth in the United States and the United Kingdom.
*The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin* is a multi-player open-world RPG based on the popular manga *The Seven Deadly Sins*, which has sold a cumulative 55 million copies worldwide. The launch version features 18 heroes, including fan-favorite original characters such as Meliodas, Tristan, Diane and King, as well as new characters created for the game. Players can freely explore key locations from the original series, including Liones Castle, the Fairy King's Forest and Baste Prison, experiencing the anime world firsthand.
Combat involves forming a team of four heroes and swapping characters situationally to enhance strategic depth. Battle styles vary depending on hero and weapon combinations, and cooperative skills called "Combo Moves" add further excitement to combat. The game also offers multiplayer content where players can form parties with friends to explore the open world or challenge powerful bosses. More details are available on the official website.
