Toyota Motor Korea is supporting the South Korean national team competing in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Paralympic Games.
Toyota Motor Korea announced on the 4th that it delivered 100 million won in sponsorship funds to the Korea Paralympic Committee at its headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 3rd of this month. The ceremony was attended by Toyota Motor Korea President and CEO Manabu Konyama, Korea Paralympic Committee President Chung Jin-wan, and officials from both organizations.
The sponsorship aligns with Toyota's global campaign "Start Your Impossible." Toyota Motor Korea has continued its support with the goal of expanding the foundation of disabled sports in Korea. Starting with sponsorship of the Korea Table Tennis Association for the Disabled in 2017, the company signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Paralympic Committee in 2023. Building on this foundation, Toyota officially sponsored the national team for the 2024 Paris Paralympics and has now expanded its scope to include the Winter Paralympics.
President Konyama said, "We will stand as a reliable partner alongside disabled athletes on their journey toward their dreams, and fulfill our corporate social responsibility."
