Ourhome announced on the 4th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to promote domestic soybean consumption, aiming to enhance the value of Korean agricultural products and contribute to the future growth of the agriculture sector.
The agreement aims to increase food self-sufficiency and strengthen industrial competitiveness for agriculture's future growth through cooperation on promoting domestic soybean consumption and related publicity efforts.
Ourhome plans to leverage its capabilities and infrastructure across institutional catering, restaurant operations, and food manufacturing to drive domestic soybean consumption. The company will develop new menu items using domestic soybeans for its cafeterias nationwide and pursue the development and launch of new home meal replacement (HMR) products. It also plans to conduct joint campaigns with the government to promote domestic soybean consumption.
"Through this agreement, we will make tangible contributions to expanding consumption through product development and campaigns utilizing domestic soybeans," an Ourhome official said. "We will continue to actively cooperate in enhancing the industrial value of Korean agricultural products."
